With the Hydro Monster Shot, you can jig, you can skip, you can cast and retrieve slow or fast, and even twitch.

It's a heavy weighted lipless stick bait, that falls in a horizontal posture, with a side-to-side wobble that perfectly mirrors a dying baitfish. On a straight retrieve it has wide wobble action, when jigged or twitched it has a sharp darting action and when burned across the surface, it has a skipping action that resembles a fleeing bait. Through wire construction, a durable lead filled body and triple strength saltwater grade treble hooks, quality throughout. It comes in 7 color patterns and 4 sizes to cover everything from Spanish Mackerel and Bonita inshore, to Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna offshore. Smallmouth just can't resist them! These baits consistently catch fish year-round, so I always make sure I have a few packs ready to go at all times. The craziest part is that color doesn't seem to matter; get it in front of them. The only downside to them is that they are not durable, but the action is unbeatable. Highly recommend this bait to any angler that wants to put more fish in the boat!
I love my Spro topwater rat, it casts relatively smooth and very easy on retrieving with a lot of action , I would recommend it to any fishermen who want guaranteed success on a day of fishing.

The easiest line to manage on both spinning and casting reels I like a direct tie of one line spool to lure. It works great. Great positive caracteristics of braid flurocarbon and braid all in one great line.
