Megabass Levante USA Spinning Rods

So happy with this quality rod. I have several other high end rods and this spinning rod hands down blows the others away. You will not be disappointed in this rod if you purchase as the quality, sensitivity and components are second to none. No other $200 rod on the market like it !!!

I'm in my 50's and I have been fishing for 40+ years - this was my first $200 fishing rod as well as being paired with a new Stradic FL 2000 - my first $200 reel.
I really had no idea how much weight and sensitivity effected my results. This upgrade has given me a new level of refinement I never knew even existed, what a big step up by just spending a little extra. My garage is filled with Shimano, Daiwa, BPS, Abu Garcia, Penn, etc. but none of those even come close to the refinement of this combo. I now feel I am getting the most out of all I have invested into lures and tackle.
So if you do find any of the Megabass rods as this pandemic has limited everyone with stock available, pair it with a good reel and open up a whole new world - treat yourself it is worth it.
I have no doubt the quality and weight savings is now worth padding my budget for better equipment. Although I wont wait so long until my next $200 rod and $200 reel..... thats for sure.

I have only used this rod 3 or 4 times since I got it. I have it paired with a Tatula 2500 using 10lb copolymer. I fish from the shore so I carry maybe 1 extra rod with me. I like to use a casting rod for most applications except finesse with plastics so that's where this rod comes into play. Now full disclaimer, $200 is the most I've ever spent on a rod but I thought I'd give it a shot. My sweet spot for rods is typically $100-$130. I've got a Dobyns Fury, Shimano SLX, a couple of Lews, 13 Fishing, St Croix Triumph, and cheapo Daiwas so my baseline is not that high compared to some of you guys out there. This rod though feels like a million bucks compared to my others. Super sensitive... I can feel every piece of structure bouncing a drop shot, ned, or shaky set up. I will even use this for small jigs and weightless wacky and texas once we get to spring (there are like 3 active bass in all of Colorado this time of year). I don't have much heavy vegetation where I fish so I don't need some monster ultra heavy 900 pound braid set up. This will be my go to rod for finesse/plastics.
