The Daiwa Ardito-TR Casting Rods are 3-piece baitcasting travel rods that breakdown into a semi-hard travel case. Perfect for freshwater and inshore saltwater anglers on the go, the Ardito series offers the performance serious angling enthusiast expect in a compact and easy-to-transport offering.

The Ardito-TR achieves this with a specialized multi-piece blank that uses strategically placed V-Flex ferrules that bend with the rod for smooth, powerful action despite the multi-piece design. Additionally, X45 Bias Construction reduces strength lost to blank twisting and ovalization which in turn creates a stronger blank.

This innovative and effective blank design is then finished off with a split grip handle with EVA foam grip, a hook keeper, and Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides. Overall, a great choice for bass, walleye, and inshore saltwater anglers on the go

Available in 3 length/power/action model variations.

This is a phenomenal rod that feels much more premium than it's price tag. I love that I don't have to sacrifice anything to have a portable rod that I can keep in the car. Just a word of warning - the 7' 6" MH fishes more like a heavy than a medium heavy, so size down if needed. Also, there's supposed to be a gap of exposed ferrule in-between rod sections. The directions are hidden away in the insert on the rod tube. Don't overtighten it.

For the price this rod is a great tool for a variety of situations when on the move. Performed flawlessly on trout and redfish in Texas on a recent trip!
