Dobyns Sierra Trout & Panfish Rods are a brand new series of ultralight spinning rods designed specifically for targeting their eponymous species. To create this line-up, Dobyns re-engineered their Sierra Series rod to be ultrathin and have incredibly responsive Ultra Light and Light power ratings perfect for throwing the super lightweight baits and lures required for targeting these small but feisty species.

The Sierra Trout & Panfish blanks are made with the same high modulus graphite as the standard Sierra Spinning Rods and feature solid carbon tip sections. The rods' Sea Guide XO line guides are attached with Kevlar wrapping for unmatched durability and line management capabilities. For comfort and ease-of-use, the rods have Fuji reel seats and Portuguese Cork split grips.
