The Daiwa Legalis LT is a new version of Daiwa's Legalis series of reliable yet affordable spinning reels totally redesigned. It employs Daiwa's "Light and Tough" LT Concept to create an easy-to-use reel that's light and smooth to operate, but still incredibly tough and durable so it can be depended on season after season.
To achieve this, the Legalis LT employs some of Daiwa's best and most reliable technologies, including a Carbon Light Body, DigiGear, Air Rotor, and Air Bail. The Carbon Light Body is made from a super-strong carbon-based composite that is lighter and stronger than graphite only frames and will not corrode like metal frames. DigiGear brass gearing is also very strong and cut with digital precision for the utmost accuracy and best possible gear mesh. Finally, the Air Bail and Air Rotor use machined aluminum so they are also simultaneously light and strong.
