  • 4 different types of Dobyns Kaden Spinning rods for all sorts of finesse applications from jigs and senkos to drop shots and shaky heads--the Kaden series has the rod for you.

The Kaden Series is the newest addition from Dobyns. The Kaden rods feature high modulus blanks, Fuji reel seats, Sea Guide's popular XO guides, Kevlar wrappings, and Portugal cork handles. The Kaden Series are all built on the spline and balanced. We are introducing the Kaden Series with 14 models in the lineup: six full handle casting rods, four 7 foot split handle spinning rods, three full handle unique size crankbait models, and a full handle 7 foot 6 inch Flippin Stick. The Kaden Series goes head to head with Dobyns super popular Sierra Series. Why the new Kaden Series? This is a combination of Gary Dobyns playing with new materials and our customers asking for full handle casting rods and slightly faster actions. The Kaden Series was actually "fish tested" for several months by Dobyns customers before bringing it back in for fine-tuning and eventual production. The feedback has been exceptional and Dobyns is happy to introduce the new Kaden series of rods. This listing is for our Spinning rods, check out our other listing for the Dobyns Kaden Casting rods.

Light Neds, Dropshot

Just got this rod yesterday to use for light neds, dropshot, and mojo rigs. Had to test it out so hit up a pond on the way to work this AM. Only caught 3 dinks but I could tell the difference in sensitivity over the Fury 702 I have been using. Was a little worried it would be too light powered, but once it hit the backbone, there was plenty of power. Casting 1/16 oz. mojo with a TRD and size 1 EWG was effortless w/ 10 lb. braid even into the wind. Great rod for light finesse as advertised.

700SF

Just started using the 700sf, very light and powerful. I use it for saltwater soft plastics in Queensland Australia. Seen this rod handle 3foot plus barramundi and other large fast saltwater species. Would recommend this all day

Rod was made in China, if I knew before hand, I would not have purchased. Support jobs in the U.S.A. !
