An excellent introduction to anglers who are new to mainline fluorocarbon, Seaguar's Red Label Fluorocarbon is strong yet extremely soft, sensitive, and affordable. Red Label works best with baitcasting reels and is suitable for both small to moderate size freshwater and saltwater species. The line offers remarkable impact strength and good abrasion resistance, boasting 30% better knot strength over leading competitors. As with all 100% fluorocarbon products, Red Label is much less visible underwater than monofilament line and virtually invisible to fish. Red Label is also UV resistant, chemical resistant, non-absorbant, high-density, and impervious to cold conditions.

Made from 100% Seaguar resins and produced using their proprietary extrusion process.

Available in pound tests ranging from 4 to 20 pound.  Available in both filler spool and bulk spool sizes.

Nice Entry Flouro

Although not the best fluorocarbon line I’ve used, I wanted to try it as a cheaper offering. So I have been using as the leader line on my river/stream setup connected with an Fg knot with 15 lb braid. First thing I noticed was how much thinner it is than some other flouro lines such as Trilene 100%. Comparing the two isn’t even close. As far as strength, I’ve honestly been impressed as I haven’t had many breaks, while fishing in some pretty rocky terrain with 8 lb test. All in all, this is good entry level fluorocarbon line in my opinion and I would recommend if you’d like to get into using Flouro.

Great deal on great line

Love Seaguar line and especially love this great deal on 1000 yard spools. I use a lot of FC and this makes it a lot easier to respool like I should.
