Berkley has worked with the Pros to design multiple sizes of Flicker Shads to match the hatch. The unique action creates a flicker action that imitates a fleeing baitfish.
**As Berkley continually updates the 2" version of the Flicker Shad, you may see this in 3/16 oz. or 1/5 oz. variations.

First year trying this out and it did fairly well- caught stocked rainbows in three separate WV impoundments within a month. Seems to do better earlier in the year; likely because it gets down deeper than some standard trolling crankbaits to hit the thermocline. Hooks hold fish well. Purchased several new patterns. 1.5 and 2 inch in black gold produce.

Hot Crappie Lure
Although my buddies and I use it to troll for crappie, we have caught a bunch of white bass on it too. We use the one piece and jointed styles.
This is one of the best jdm style bfs rods in the game. Super sensitive, extremely versatile, and plenty of backbone. Nice cork handles, carbon reel seat, and a nice guide train. I have found the sweet spot to be 3/16, 1/10, and 1/8. Ned rigs, small texas rigs, and kirashis are my favorites. If you’re getting into BFS, this rod will serve you well.
