Daiwa created such an effective, versatile reel by combining their Ultimate Tournament Drag (UTD) system and Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearing (CRBB) with a light, yet rugged aluminum frame and side plate. Altogether, these technologies offer 25 pounds of drag strength, ample line capacity (fits up to 200 yards of 65 pound J-Braid), and a reliable gear train that will hold up to years of abuse even in harsh saltwater fishing environments.
