These combos feature the Daiwa BG family of reels which are known for their all-aluminum frame and Digigear technology, along with their precisely engineered 6 stainless steel ball bearing design ensuring the smoothest of casts and retrieves. With the Digigear technology the gears are 20% to 40% larger with a larger tooth pattern, providing longer gear life and increased durability compared to other reels. The reel also features Daiwa's Automatic Tournament Drag system that utilizes an improved grease that reduces drag start-up inertia and results in smoother drag. Daiwa's BG family of spinning reels have got you covered on the water, and when paired with Daiwa's BG family of rods, its a match made in heaven!
The BG Family of rods come in 2 variants, the offshore variant features a durable graphite composite design ensuring long-term use without compromising on performance. For the utmost comfort the offshore variant features a rugged EVA Foam grip ensuring comfort that lasts. The inshore variant is built on the same durable graphite composite design as the offshore variant however it features a cork grip for a more relaxed feel when fishing inshore.
