The Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a saltwater slow jigging lure with a Japanese design. On the fall this lure exhibits a unique spin and flutter action that entices predatory gamefish to react and attack. Once the Saltiga SK Jig has reached the bottom or a targeted depth, simply wind the reel and let it fall back down. The unique swimming action of the Saltiga SK Jig allows the jig to kick and slap throughout the water column.

These are one of the "go to" lures for the San Diego blue fin fishery. Stock hooks hold up fine, where most other jigs you have to change out the stock hooks. Good action on these jigs, and they sink fast.
The max vibe has the perfect casting weight to bomb it a mile. That distance is important because the action is awesome and the longer its in the water the more followers it attracts. ITS ACTION: cast any other trap, reel it in while watching your rod tip. Then tie the Max Vibe on and watch its action. No comparison. You can burn the Vibe and it wont blow out like so many others. It is also great for slow rolling shell beds.
I would give it 5 star but the BKK hooks are weak. They will straighten out on a 5 pounder. I swap all the hooks out on this bait.
Great bait. I do a lot of bottom bouncing and drift fishing from my kayak with soft baits. The Gobius out fished my Baby Brush Hog, my Whacky Worm, and my swim bait. I turns my fishing buddy on to it and he scored big on the first time he used it and bought a slew of them. Very durable; I’m still using the same one after several trips and many bass. Also very good through grass and weeds without getting hung up.
What can i say, its a Shimano. I bought the Nasci NC 2 years ago, its been a stellar reel, when the FD came out i read good things about it, so i grabbed one, glad i did. I like it so much im gonna grab the 4000 next.
This is my go to swim jig trailer. They have great action and hold up really well. You can fish them TX rigged or on a shaky head also. Great bait and very versatile.
