Daiwa Saltiga Jigging Series Conventional Casting Rods are a series of top-of-the-line offshore saltwater jigging sticks. For peak jigging performance, they use Daiwa's HVF nanoplus carbon manufacturing process to reinforce the rod blank via a micro-level arrangement of material in the plastic resin, which in turn creates a smaller, lighter, and more rigid blank.
Yet despite how light the blanks are, the Saltiga Jigging Series has impressive fish-stopping strength provided by a combination of X-45 Bias Construction, which improves strength by preventing rod twist and ovalization as the rod bends, and innovative 3DX Carbon Fiber Material, which uses interwoven three-dimensional carbon fiber that wraps around the blank like an exoskeleton to further bolster rod strength.
This reinforcement with the 3DX hexagon-shaped fibers also enhances the compression of blank material, improves the flex strength, and makes the blank action much faster and more responsive. Custom dimple EVA foam handles provide a sure, slip-proof grip, which is incredibly important for effective jigging.
The Fuji Tangle Free Guides let the jigs drop with the minimum of resistance. Despite a reduced profile, the guides are still strong, durable, and long-lasting. The quality of materials and craftsmanship is backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty.
Available in 10 Length/Power variations to cover a wide range of jig sizes.
