I've been using VMC Spinshot hooksfor drop shot fishing for awhile now. I love them. I use 14 lb braid to 8 lb fluorocarbon leader using a uni to uni knot. I tie the end of the spinshot using another uni knot. I then use 6 lb fluorocarbon for my sinker line. I usually tie on about 12 inches to the cylinder wgt. I like 1/8 or 3/16 oz depending on the depth I'm fishing.
These hook #2 work great. I nose hook a finesse worm in natural colors in clear water around rocks, etc. The Spinshot hooks prevent line twist and they stick in bass jaws like crazy.
What is best about them is the ability to tie on different lengths on sinker wgt line without redoing the hook. Even though I'm using a relatively small hook I can still bring in 15 or 16 inch bass. They are strong and sharp hooks. I give it 5 stars.
I use these hooks for drop shotting for bass with plastics and live bait, and for sheepshead with fiddler's, octopus tentacles, and worms
Very happy with these hooks, razor sharp and well made. Really gives a good hookset, no line twist,,super fast shipping, will purchase again.

Just as good as the jackhammer, maybe better. Has all the right stuff and more,... Like the additional trailer grip on the hook shank.
I really like the way the crush city swim baits look and so I ordered some and they got delivered before my tournament and best of all no shipping cost. 5 stars to these guys. So easy to navigate there site and they have got my business.

I’ve had a tremendous hook-up precentage with this rig in and around brush/lay-downs. I originally purchased the 4/0 in 1/8oz & 3/8oz, and I just recently purchased 3 additional sizes and weights. I would HIGHLY suggest using some kind of TPE (think elaz-tech/super stretchy) bait with this rig or you’re going to blow through plastics.
