An excellent introduction to anglers who are new to mainline fluorocarbon, Seaguar's Red Label Fluorocarbon is strong yet extremely soft, sensitive, and affordable. Red Label works best with baitcasting reels and is suitable for both small to moderate size freshwater and saltwater species. The line offers remarkable impact strength and good abrasion resistance, boasting 30% better knot strength over leading competitors. As with all 100% fluorocarbon products, Red Label is much less visible underwater than monofilament line and virtually invisible to fish. Red Label is also UV resistant, chemical resistant, non-absorbant, high-density, and impervious to cold conditions.

Made from 100% Seaguar resins and produced using their proprietary extrusion process.

Available in pound tests ranging from 4 to 20 pound.  Available in both filler spool and bulk spool sizes.

Smooth and tough

I’ve used 6lbs and 20lbs for a leader material. It is great, very abrasive resistant. It also has good knot strength. Highly recommend!

Seaguar red label fluorocarbon is my go to line for the last 3 years. It’s priced like a mid grade line but fishes much better than that. Discount tackle consistently has the best price too! Highly recommend this line and this discount tackle.

This line is awesome. I use it mainly for perch and crappies but landed a 42 inch northern pike on it in 6 pound strength last week. I It is very strong for the thin diameter and the fish definitely cannot see it. I highly recommend this product.

Favorite Line!!

Absolutely love this fluorocarbon! Use the 15lb test on most of my baitcasters and it performs beautifully. Great place to start, don't buy hybrid or coated fluoro from other brands, waste of money.
