The Daiwa Steez AGS Bass Finesse Spinning Rods are Daiwa's top-of-the-line finesse bass fishing spinning rods. Offering an unprecedented level of sensitivity and power thanks to Daiwa's exclusive SVF (Super High Volume Fiber) graphite technology and X45 Bias graphite fiber construction these rods are a finesse anglers dream. Daiwa's SVF technology packs unidirectional graphite fiber into a denser form with exact resin control, which provides greater strength, lighter weight, and unbelievable sensitivity - a must for detecting light bites. The X45 Bias Graphite fiber construction also helps the rods resist twisting for less stress, greater strength, and increased hook setting power.

An updated version of Daiwa's revolutionary Air Guide System (AGS) is 40 percent lighter than traditional guides. Machined from advanced graphite material, AGS offers 3 times more rigidity than titanium, while greatly enhancing overall sensitivity as well. Custom reel seats and split grip Air Foam handles help you feel every bit of rod movement and also make the rod incredibly comfortable to use all day long.

Available in 4 rod length/power/action variations.

Light & "Snappy" - ML Very Fast Action

I Have the Med-Lgt. 1/8-3/8 rod. Good snap jigging rod for Smallies & Walleye. Graphite of this caliber is quite different, the way it instantly straightens out after you snap or "pop" it. I've got Suffix 832 10lb. braid on the Tatula 3000 I'm using on it. Yet to try Floro. or Mono on it. -- It IS awesomely light & a joy to use. If you want a soft tip section though, look into an "extra-fast" description type rod instead.

These are beautiful pieces of art. Light as a feather and more sensitive than a millennial

This is my new go-to rod! The carbon fiber guides look really cool and they transmit all feeling direct to the rod. The grip is comfortable and is balanced and light for a full weekend of casting. A little on the expensive side but treat yourself if you can, you won't be disappointed!
