The Shimano SLX 150 XT is an upgraded version of the Shimano SLX A improved via the addition of Shimano's externally-controlled SVS infinity braking system. Enclosed in an incredibly lightweight yet rigid Hagane body frame, the SLX XT is a feather-weight compact reel that has the backbone and reliability to be a workhorse tournament reel. Additionally, the the reel's SVS infinity braking system allows the SLX XT to be perfectly tuned to each lure's weight, allowing for greater casting distance.
As its name suggests, the SLX 150 XT has a 150-size spool, which provides a versatile balance of line capacity and a small, "palmable" reel body. And to top it all off the SLX XT has longer paddle handles and ergonomic grips, giving the angler absolute control over the reel.
Available in 6.3:1, 7.2:1, and 8.2:1 gear ratios in both Left and Right Hand retrieve.
