The Favorite Soleus Casting Reels are low-profile baitcasting reels optimized for bass fishing. Developed over a 2 year testing period, the Soleus baitcaster was designed with ergonomics and performance at the forefront of the Favorite Fishing product engineers' minds as they worked to develop a reel both light and tough enough to provide significant value to tournament bass anglers.
To achieve these goals, the Soleus has a 10+1 ball bearing system (of which two are High Speed bearings) and a centrifugal braking system that ensures longer, smoother casts. For fish-fighting power, the Soleus offers up to 20 pounds of drag and is encased in a robust and durable aluminum frame with an anodized finish and carbon side plates. The Soleus is pretty easy on the eyes too, with a sleek matte black look and white graphics.
