Awesome spoons but could be a smidge heavier

Love these spoons for big bass on bunker pods in the northeast. I've also had amazing success with them jigging reefs down south in FL. They could be a smidge heavier to help them get down in stiffer currents without scoping out so far. I've found that the trick is to fish them with a conventional reel or baitcaster, you thumb the spool just slightly so as to keep the lure in a vertical position for it's initial decent. Then, once your at your desired depth, you can jig them with some slack so they get horizontal and flutter around. They catch a lot of water and really dance around if fished properly.. love the smaller sizes too for trolling on a 3 way rig above a big deep diver lure

8” Nichols Spoon

Great for stripers In NJ. when they’re feeding on bunker. I have used the 8” and 9”, both are great. You just have to change the split rings, I use a 120 lb size 8. And the treble hook, I use a VMC 5/0.

these are the spoons to use for salt in NJ, hardware is for freshwater but easy to swap out with new split rings
