Caught every one of my PB’s with the shad color chatterbait. It’s the first thing I tie on when I hit the water. Honestly, I don’t even change up sometimes because it just works so good. No matter the weather, this lure will catch fish. I’ve caught largemouth bass in the dead of winter, in the heat of summer, when pollen is on the top of the water in spring and when the leaves are brown in fall. It’s just hands down the best thing to happen to fishing. If you haven’t tried one, you’re missing out.

The Zman Original Chatterbait has been my go to bait for large mouth bass on those days when spinners, worms, crank baits and others don't produce. These chatterbaits cast easily and work excellent in both cover and open water. They are almost snag free which means alot to me being on a fixed income and especially considering the cost of tackle these days. I sometimes add a trailer to these chatter baits such as craw or small swimbait with devastating results! I've practically had my rod pulled out of my hand! If I had to choose one word for the Z Man Original Chatterbait, it would be AMAZING!

It casts easily, and retrieves with minimal effort. The vibration from the blade adds to the movement of the skirt. And if a trailer worm or fluke is used, it is really killer.
I have been able to catch many bass with the chatterbait when other baits have failed.
